Job Description
Problem statement: We're looking for 2 experienced Scala/Java software engineers. You will be responsible for our data batch processing framework. The scope is to connect/implement various data sources to ingest the data into our systems.
Skillset
- 5-6 years of software engineering experience with specific exposure to Scala (primary) and Java
- Data ingestion skills (data retrieval, validation, transformation, loading...)
- Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies (S3, EMR)
- Maven, Cucumber, Kafka, Jenkins experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in testing (unit, functional, load/performance) and test automation
- Tools: IntelliJ, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence
- Agile software development experience
- High level of proactivity and strong communication skills
